Building Community Through
Food Services

Coming together to share food is a fundamental part of campus life, keeping students safe, and creating time to build and nourish community. Are your food services working with you or against you?

Good food and good friends are made for each other. In a college or university environment, good food is doubly important in creating the opportunity for good community.

But good food can’t exist in a vacuum - students have limited funds and unlimited needs. Reconciling their needs with their funds requires careful engineering.

CRi offers a range of research services for food services.

At the most basic, we can take the temperature: where do your food services excel, what are the key weaknesses, which service points have operational best practices to share, what key changes need to be made.

Taking it up a notch, CRi can identify unnecessary duplication in your menus, pinpoint under-served student segments and show you what it would take to meet their needs. Less wasted food, more customers. Sounds tasty.

At the top of the scale, we can work with a trusted partner to assess both the effectiveness of your food services as well as your provider’s compliance with your base contract.
